Description |
Mixed use development, 350 m tall twin towers that hold office, residential, hotel, retail and leisure activities for Dubai International Financial Centre "DIFC". |
Concept |
An experimental design which expolre new relationships between the internal and external spaces within high rise mixed use towers. The design language of this proposal was inspired by the DIFC business model offering well structured and flexible opportunities and services, and serving the future of Dubai. Uniqueness is shown in two approaches: First is the break from the traditional design and the form of the skyscrapers by using organic shapes (blobs) to form the spaces. Second is the spatial experience whether internally in the tower or externally on the plaza level. |
